WEBINAR: Vroom Your Zoom
Join us on Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 12:15pm - 1:15pm (ET) for a webinar with speaker Todd Hunt.

This program will be submitted for 1.0 for both SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDC) and recertification credits from HRCI.

Login information for Zoom will be provided at the bottom of your email confirmation.

Webinar Description:
You’re asked to give a virtual HR presentation. Now what — read slides for an hour? That’s boring in person; more so on Zoom. So mix it up! In this engaging session, you’ll learn to elevate the effectiveness of your Zoom programs by adding video, props and interaction (even if it’s a webinar and you can’t see your audience). Glean tips on lighting, camera placement, gestures, wardrobe…yes, even slides, from a SHRM favorite (33 chapters) who has mastered the art of virtual speaking — business humorist Todd Hunt.

Learning Objectives:

  • Elevate Zoom program quality beyond reading slides, to increase audience retention of your learning points.
  • Learn virtual involvement techniques that work even when you can’t see/hear attendees and they can’t see/hear each other.
  • Discover tips for using props and visuals to enhance the effectiveness of your Zoom presentations.

  • Speaker Bio:
Todd Hunt speaks to organizations that want to add fun to their events and send members back to work smiling—with tips to improve communication and success. As an executive at Ogilvy & Mather, one of the world’s largest advertising agencies, he learned the inner workings of communication. Additional positions with an insurance administrator, retailer and his own marketing company enabled him to validate his communication concepts. Todd has presented at New York, South Carolina, Maryland and Ohio state SHRM conferences and more than two dozen additional HR events, including national SHRM and two HR Conference Cruises.
